In 2025, Natalia Kalicki and Milena Soporowska launched Akademia Działkowa, an open plein air academyproject located in and around Działka Sztuki.
Akademia Działkowa is an ongoing rehearsal of how to share space and rest together, with a focus on neighborly relations, peer-to-peer education, and living with nature. In addition to testing the forest allotment as a studio space, we are also planning a series of public workshops with a focus on practices of gleaning.
This project is developed with the support of WOK, Warsaw Observatory of Culture, in the context of a residency program with the theme of Resilience. Throughout the residency period, we will reflect on the structural possibilities of building a sustainable para-institution through the possibilities of the Działka.
